Vvie Ward, Senior Adviser

Yvie Ward started in financial services in 1982 by setting up own business which was also an Estate Agent with a Halifax agency. She developed this from start up situation and retained independence on financial services side by registering directly first with FIMBRA, then PIA.

For personal reasons, Yvie sold this as a going concern in late 1996 and re-located to London. She spent three years working in the banking sector as an adviser but being a tied adviser did not sit well with her as she has always felt that to give rounded advice and proper financial structure to clients’ plans she needed to be totally independent.

In 2000, Yvie joined the female IFA Company Fiona Price & Partners (which became Destini Fiona Price then latterly Thinc) as an independent financial adviser, where she worked alongside Anna Sofat. The holistic and ethical approach the company took towards advising clients reflected her own views on giving advice.

“Now at AJS Wealth with the rounded approach towards clients of trust, respect, loyalty and of total transparency I feel I am again able to best look after clients and help them to achieve their financial goals in life” says Yvie.

Yvie has two adult children and one very beloved grandson aged 8. She enjoys a varied personal life with friends and family as well as a real passion for working life and looking after her clients’ best interests.
